Signature Place Tower
Downtown St. Petersburg, FL

At 36 floors and 440 feet, Signature Place mixed-use tower is the largest project ever built on the west coast of Florida in the Tampa Bay area at a cost of $225 million dollars.  It was the brainchild of Joel Cantor who hired acclaimed architect Ralph Johnson, the head designer of Perkins + Will Architects, one of the world’s largest architecture firms.   Signature Place, located on St. Peterburg’s downtown waterfront comprises 620,000 net square feet with 244 condominiums, 100,000 square feet of office and retail space all encompassed in a unique “sail-like” shape to afford all residents clear views of St. Peterburg’s waterfront.  Mr. Cantor also was constructed the world’s largest man-made waterwall that soars six (6) stories covering the parking garage and the water is sequenced by a wifi controlled program that mimics sound patterns.  The building was awarded the building of the year by the American Association of Architects.   Cantor’s HQ is located within the project.
